A LITTLE HELP GETTING STARTED
Make room for what matters to you.
Three simple ways to use a notebook for your thoughts, your goals and what comes next. Start with one. Make it your own.
Turn a goal into a next step
A goal can be important without being a complete plan. Start with something small enough to do this week.
1. Name what you want
In Dream, write a goal in your own words: ‘Make time for weekend walks.’ Add why it matters if that helps. You don’t need a deadline or a perfect description.
2. Choose one action
In Do, create one concrete next step: ‘Choose a trail for Sunday.’ Make it something you can actually finish, rather than a second big goal.
3. Keep the connection
Link the to-do and the dream so you can return to the reason behind the action. Add more steps only when you need them.
4. Notice what happened
Afterwards, write a short Diary entry. What felt good? What got in the way? Adjust the next step instead of judging the whole goal by one day.
Start a diary without a routine to maintain
You don’t have to write every day, write beautifully, or know what a thought means yet.
1. Begin with a few words
Open Diary and capture what is on your mind. ‘An idea from the train’ or ‘Something I want to remember’ is enough to begin.
2. Use the detail you need
Keep a short note short. Add more writing or media when it helps express what you mean. A title and tags can wait.
3. Leave yourself a way back
Give the entry a recognisable title, or link it to a related goal or task. You can organise it later.
4. Return when it is useful
Read an old entry when you want perspective—not because a streak tells you to. Your notebook should support your life, not become another obligation.
Choose between device-only notes and sync
You can start privately without an account. Sign in when you want your saved pages on more than one device.
1. Stay on one device
Without an account, your notebook stays on that device or browser. An offline notebook is not automatically a cloud backup; clearing app or browser storage can remove it.
2. Bring your devices together
Choose account and sync in your profile. Use the same Infidreams account on each device and allow the first sync to finish while online.
3. Keep existing notes
If another device already contains notes, review the app’s choice to add those notes to your account. Do not erase local data just to troubleshoot sync.
4. Keep a copy you control
Use export in your profile to save a copy of your Infidreams data. Keep that file somewhere safe. Import lets you bring an exported copy back; review the import choices before continuing.
Start small. Ask when you get stuck.
You do not need to use every section. Begin with one note or one next step. If something feels difficult, tell us what you were trying to do.
